Review: "...this is THE word-of-mouth show to see" (Frontiers Magazine) - March 1, 2011
While "caught" means different things in the context of the play, it also reflects how the show has caught fire in Los Angeles. Entering its third month and second extension, this is the word-of-mouth show to see. It will feed your mind, make you laugh and break your heart all at once. (Read More)

Review: Caught: A Theatrical Review (Yahoo! Associated Content) - February 28, 2011
How does one explain love? Is love simply an emotion that can come and go like the sparrows in the wind? Is love something that cannot be denied regardless of to what or whom it is aimed? Is love something that can be turned off and on like water from a faucet? Or, is love something that is eternal, unchanging, and everlasting? (Read More)

Happy Holidays, y'all! Caught is OVATION RECOMMENDED! - December 20, 2010

Review: GO! (LA Weekly) - December 16, 2010
In the aftermath of Proposition 8 passing in November 2008, one of the regrets of those who fought valiantly for gay marriage and against the proposition was that enough wasn't done to "normalize" gay couples. And while the events in David L. Ray's world-premiere play take place in July 2008, Caught furthers the cause by dramatizing one of those healthy relationships. (Read More)

Review: Caught is an engaging domestic drama (LA Stage Times) - December 10, 2010
Two of the hottest controversies in the news right now are gay marriage and gays in the military. Wouldn't you think that the theater, which attracts plenty of gay talent, would be overwhelmed with productions focusing on the human side of these two subjects?[...]In David L. Ray's Caught, at the Zephyr, the style is utterly realistic, and neither the lines nor the message is obscured. (Read More)
